Applications to contribute to the State Housing Tax Credit Contribution Fund open on February 16, 2026!

The SHTC is a way to help finance affordable housing right here in

Rice County! Eligible Minnesota taxpayers can contribute between $1,000 and $2 million to the Contribution Fund (and to a project in Northfield) and receive a state tax credit certificate (TCC) that equals 85% of their total contributions.
